8th Grade students were given the task of testing the Boston Wireless Network. The software I-stumbler was used in testing different locations. Students broke up into five groups and mapped out a route to take. Each student tested their location and answered the following questions
1. What percentage is the signal strength based on I-stumbler?
2. How strong is the signal from the laptop wireless indicator (Snow cone)?
3. How long does it take it get online?
4. Where you able to download any files, if so how long does it take to download?

All questions were reported using the I-Movie. Using Google Maps, students put place marks on the location of their report.

Currently 8th graders are learning about the Pythagorean Theorem. Using the Boston Wireless Network Map students estimated the distance between network radios. Also using this feature students gave their thoughts and opinions on how the wireless network would effect our community.
